Yes. Your heating system needs a thorough clean when a new boiler goes in, otherwise manufacturers can void the warranty. We include a professional power flush at no extra cost, which removes sludge, rust and debris to protect your new boiler. As a standalone service this can cost up to £1,000.

When you book a boiler repair with Boiler Town, one of our experienced Gas Safe registered engineers will attend your home and carry out a thorough inspection and diagnosis of your boiler, so you'll know exactly what the issue is. Our diagnostic fee is £120, which includes up to 1 hour on site. Around 75% of our repairs are completed within that hour, and if no additional parts are required, we'll complete the repair at no extra labour cost.

If additional time or replacement parts are needed, we'll provide you with a fixed price, no obligation quote before any further work is carried out, keeping everything transparent with no hidden surprises.

Please note: appointments requested outside of 8am to 6pm incur a 50% out of hours surcharge.

The time required to repair a boiler can vary depending on the issue, but around 75% of our repairs are completed within the initial 1 hour inspection. Once our engineer has diagnosed the fault, we'll provide a clearer timeframe for completing the repair.

Yes. After completing the diagnosis, we'll provide you with a fixed price, no obligation quote based on the repair required. If the part is readily available, we'll aim to complete the repair straight away. If not, we'll order the required part and get your boiler back up and running as soon as possible.

The price you're quoted is the price you'll pay, no hidden fees or unexpected costs for the diagnosed repair. If your boiler develops a separate fault, or an additional issue is identified outside the original repair, we'll provide a new fixed price quote before carrying out any further work. If recurring faults arise, we'll also help you decide when replacing your boiler may be the most cost effective option.

If, during the 1 hour inspection and diagnosis, we determine that your boiler is beyond economical repair, we'll provide you with a no obligation quote for a replacement boiler with Boiler Town. If you decide to proceed with a new boiler installation through us, we'll also refund your £120 diagnostic fee, helping reduce the cost of getting your home back up and running.

As part of your repair, we include an 18 month workmanship guarantee on all work directly related to the repair carried out by Boiler Town. Any replacement parts used are also covered by the manufacturer's warranty, giving you added peace of mind.
